Donations to help put smiles on the faces of local students.
RMS East Timor staff are always looking at ways to be part of the community in which we work.
Late last year RMS staff decided to donate some money to purchase gifts for a local school which caters for disabled children. The funds raised by our staff were matched by RMS Head Office.
The funds raised meant we were able to purchase school books, pens, etc and food for the school.
Some of the children at the school are orphaned so the school accommodates them as well.
The nuns informed us the school gets little assistance from the Government and often has to approach NGO’s for assistance, the children also raise money by baking and selling biscuits in the community.
RMS is pleased to be able to put a smile on the faces of these children and their teachers.
